Gear turns up on the bench — sometimes bought, sometimes sent by a manufacturer. Either way, nobody gets to approve the review first.

Unboxing, setup and first impressions, in one take on the same desk it will live on. No re-shoots to hide the fiddly bits.

Weeks of daily use before any verdict. Battery claims, build quality, the software that ships with it — all of it gets tested for real.

Only the things worth owning make it into the shop. If it disappointed, it stays off the shelf and the video says why.
